Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 7, 2026
HaveQuote.com (“HaveQuote,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a marketing lead generator and advertising/referral service that connects homeowners with licensed local home improvement contractors and other Third-Parties. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
When you use this site or submit a quote request, we collect:
- Identifying and contact information you provide: first and last name, email address, phone number, mailing address (street, city, state, ZIP), property type (own/rent/business).
- Project information you provide: type of home improvement service, project type/scope, project timeframe.
- Consent metadata: your express written agreement to be contacted, captured at the moment you click Submit, along with the date/time, the page URL, your IP address, and your user agent.
- Compliance evidence captured by third-party services such as TrustedForm and Jornaya/LeadiD.
- Technical and usage information automatically collected via cookies, web beacons, and analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel) including page views, referrer, and approximate location.
2. How we use your information
- To match you with one or more Third-Party contractors, lead aggregators, or service providers who offer the type of project you requested in your area.
- To document your express written consent to be contacted, including under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state telemarketing laws.
- To prevent fraud, duplicate submissions, and abuse of our service.
- To improve our matching, ad effectiveness, and overall site experience.
- To comply with our legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
3. How we share your information
By submitting your information, you authorize HaveQuote to share that information with one or more Third-Parties — which may include licensed contractors, lead buyers, lead aggregators, and call centers — so that they can contact you with quotes or offers for the service you requested. The Third-Parties to whom we refer your information may share it with their own contractors, partners, or affiliates as needed to follow up on your request.
For a list of our current partners, visit our Partner List page.
We may also share information with service providers who help us run our website, send communications, and analyze usage; with payment processors when applicable; and as required by law.
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration unrelated to your request. However, under California’s CCPA/CPRA the act of sharing your information with Third-Parties for advertising purposes can be classified as a “sale” or “sharing.” California residents have the right to opt out — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
4. TCPA & consent to be contacted
By clicking Submit on a HaveQuote.com quote form, you provide your express written consent to be contacted at the phone number and email address you provide — including by automated dialing systems, pre-recorded or artificial voice messages, and SMS/text messages — by HaveQuote.com and by up to four Third-Parties offering products or services related to your request. You acknowledge that this consent is not required to purchase any product or service, and that message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of further communications from any Third-Party at any time by replying STOP to text messages, asking to be removed from a calling list, or contacting that Third-Party directly. To stop hearing from HaveQuote, email privacy@havequote.com.
5. Your privacy rights
Depending on the laws of your state or country (including California’s CCPA/CPRA, Virginia’s VCDPA, Colorado’s CPA, and similar laws), you may have the right to: request access to the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your personal information; opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for advertising; and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@havequote.com or visit our Do Not Sell or Share page. We will respond within the time period required by applicable law.
5a. California residents — CCPA opt-out
California residents have the right to opt out of the sale of their personal information. To opt out, visit our Do Not Sell My Information page or email privacy@havequote.com with subject line “CCPA Opt-Out Request.”
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure ad effectiveness, and understand how visitors use HaveQuote. We may use Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and similar services. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some site features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
7. Data security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including TLS encryption in transit and access controls on our systems — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
HaveQuote is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of HaveQuote.com after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
